I do not use it with a telecoil. The sound quality and battery life are both excellent. I appreciate the ability to be able to lay the IPhone on a table in a room and walk about the room without having to carry the IPhone and attached wires everywhere. For me, this unit is an excellent solution. It seamlessly switches between audio listening and phone use.
