Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth In-Ear Stereo Headset
"I use my MM200 for nearly everything (except driving). I have had these bluetooth stereo headphones for about two weeks. I could have purchased any other headset on the market, But after testing the REALLY high end ones and then gambling on the no-test, mail order only MM-200, I am truly glad I bought them.
They work flawlessly with my laptop and my iPhone. All I have to do is turn them on and turn on the bluetooth on the Apples and I am listening to whatever. With the iPhone I can leave it in my backpack and be up to 60ft. away - pretty good distance for a class 3 Bluetooth device. They are comfortable, the highs and lows are crystal clear.
The Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth In-Ear Stereo Headset are a absolute bargain for what you get in sound and technology. The design is perfect for keeping them around my neck in case I have to hear something and need to take them out for a second and forget about them. The control (on,off volume, answer call) function perfectly, even when operating them through clothing.
The only bad thing I can honestly say is that I wish I had more ears, because I would buy another pair right now. Although, a hard carrying case would be nice feature to have with them. I use a hard Sun-glass case to keep them from getting damaged. But that is a minor problem, compared to the benefit they provide to me.
"I am not sure why others are having issues with this headset. I have had them for two weeks now. I was able to sync with my iPod Touch and my Android Bionic within a few minutes. Phone calls are nice and clear, music is also good. I used the headset for an international call for over an hour and had no problems, no drops, no noise, just good clear sound. One thing I did not expect was that the phone call come through both earpieces. So I was able to use them both, block out unwanted noises and concentrate on the call.
I have looked for a solution like this for a while now. I was never big on the cyborg look of having bluetooth headphones in your ear all day when there are no calls, until now. This headset is just there for you, waiting to be used.
When I need it, or my phone rings I just pop it in my ear and away I go. I few times the unit was off when the phone rang and I was able to turn it on, let it sync and still have time to answer the call. Now how many bluetooth headphones do you know of that can process all that without freezing or getting a error? Let me guess... not many.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post and I hope your able to use this site in finding the right set of stereo headphones which will work best for you.
just wanted to drop a quick comment in to say hello and nice website.
Hello to you as well and thank you for the compliment.
Do you have this in white color and can I control the phone’s music with this? Where are the microphone and the control switches located?
I’m having some bad trouble with my Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth headphones I just picked up at the store.
When I first bought it and set them up, it paired fine with my cell phone. I was able to listen to music without problems, talk on the phone, anything I wanted to. That only lasted a few hours though.
All of a sudden for no reason they became disconnected. Now I cannot get them to work again for anything. I checked the bluetooth status and it says “Paired but not connected”. I tried connecting, but it would simply say “Could not connect”.
So, I unpaired them and started the bluetooth stereo headphones up on pairing mode again. Now, the mobile phone can’t even detect the headphones at all. Please help if you can!
Sammy,
Assuming that the problem is the phone and not the headphones themselves. If you tried everything you can pull the battery out and wipe out the bluetooth connection in the phone. If you can’t pair even after changing the whole phone to it’s factory defaults, the problem must be in the headset. It may be defective but here is my opinion on what you should do.
First thing to try would be to drain the bluetooth headphones battery completely so that it resets and forgets all it’s pairings (this may or may not work, test it to see if it forgot the settings of pairing).
My best advice and second thing would be if you just got them, just go and return them for another pair. The new headphones may have the same problem, but maybe it will work fine after all. Just go to your car after getting the new set and try to pair them right there, if you get the same problem you can just bring them back and try another brand or bring your phone to a store and see if it may be defective in one way or another. At least this way will give you confidence that it’s the headphones or cell phone and that your not going nuts.
Ed,
These do not come in a white color, only black. You can use the voice control for calls and listening to music. The microphone is on the cable 3 inches from left ear tip. Center button will be for your play/pause and on/off. In addition, there is a cross scroll which works with up/down for the volume, left/right for redial and activating the voice control.
The controls only seem to have problems here and there when dealing with the next or previous track changing as the controls don’t work for those currently.
