Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth In-Ear Stereo Headset

"I use my MM200 for nearly everything (except driving). I have had these bluetooth stereo headphones for about two weeks. I could have purchased any other headset on the market, But after testing the REALLY high end ones and then gambling on the no-test, mail order only MM-200, I am truly glad I bought them.

They work flawlessly with my laptop and my iPhone. All I have to do is turn them on and turn on the bluetooth on the Apples and I am listening to whatever. With the iPhone I can leave it in my backpack and be up to 60ft. away - pretty good distance for a class 3 Bluetooth device. They are comfortable, the highs and lows are crystal clear.

The Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth In-Ear Stereo Headset are a absolute bargain for what you get in sound and technology. The design is perfect for keeping them around my neck in case I have to hear something and need to take them out for a second and forget about them. The control (on,off volume, answer call) function perfectly, even when operating them through clothing.

The only bad thing I can honestly say is that I wish I had more ears, because I would buy another pair right now. Although, a hard carrying case would be nice feature to have with them. I use a hard Sun-glass case to keep them from getting damaged. But that is a minor problem, compared to the benefit they provide to me.

"I am not sure why others are having issues with this headset. I have had them for two weeks now. I was able to sync with my iPod Touch and my Android Bionic within a few minutes. Phone calls are nice and clear, music is also good. I used the headset for an international call for over an hour and had no problems, no drops, no noise, just good clear sound. One thing I did not expect was that the phone call come through both earpieces. So I was able to use them both, block out unwanted noises and concentrate on the call.

I have looked for a solution like this for a while now. I was never big on the cyborg look of having bluetooth headphones in your ear all day when there are no calls, until now. This headset is just there for you, waiting to be used.

When I need it, or my phone rings I just pop it in my ear and away I go. I few times the unit was off when the phone rang and I was able to turn it on, let it sync and still have time to answer the call. Now how many bluetooth headphones do you know of that can process all that without freezing or getting a error? Let me guess... not many.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post and I hope your able to use this site in finding the right set of stereo headphones which will work best for you.

Need Help Shopping For The Best Bluetooth Stereo Headphones This Holiday Season?

With the holiday season approaching, you may be looking for just the right set of bluetooth stereo headphones as a gift. Between the hundreds of brands, models and types available... you could easily get confused and not know which bluetooth headset is best suited for the person your giving it to.

Hopefully the information below will shed some light on wireless headphones overall and help you on your quest when buying the best headphones whether it be online or in your local electronic store.

Like me, most people dislike headphones because the average cord length can seem very restricting and usually is. I know you could use bulky extension cords, but who wants the extra weight of them on your head. Bluetooth stereo headphones use a different wireless technology to eliminate the cord between the headphones and device. Essentially, a bluetooth wireless transmitter is placed in the connector port that sends sound signals to the wireless headphones, which acts as a receiver.

Most bluetooth headphones are battery powered using a rechargeable battery (any bluetooth headset should come with a charger) and are gaining popularity among iPod's, MP3 players, and cell phone users. Average battery charge and listening times, vary slightly per brand and model. On average, the listening time on a charged battery is 5-7 hours of constant use.

The best quality wireless signal you can get is a bluetooth RF signal and there also the easiest to setup overall. Also used by other computer and gaming electronics, bluetooth frequencies have proven to be the most reliable for delivering the best sound within virtually any home, office or even while jogging.

You should look for higher frequencies as they deliver longer wireless range between you and the item. Bluetooth stereo headphone wireless technology is growing so fast and now used by most portable devices. A bluetooth signals current range is about 30ft-40ft of clear wireless transmitting.

TIP: The optimal frequency response of our ear is 20Hz to 20,000H and any headphones you can buy these days or exceed that frequency range which makes it easier to pick one out. You'll find that all name brand bluetooth stereo headphones exceed the optimal frequency response by almost triple. You will end up wearing your set all the time even if you don't need to be quiet playing video games / computer games since you can hear even the lightest footsteps and incredible sounds which you wouldn't normally pickup from normal TV playing.

One of the newest uses of bluetooth stereo headphones is at home, for watching TV whenever you need it to be quiet and not bother anyone. Every HDTV television will have a 3.5mm headphone jack (similar to what you would find on most audio players). If you ask people the reason why they use wireless headphones, the number one answer people would give is for watching or listening to music at night just so they do not disturb others. It's the best way to appreciate TV at time of the night while keeping the volume level high just where you prefer.

Are you curious which bluetooth headphones set is better for watching TV and which headsets are better for computer use? With bluetooth, it doesn't matter! Bluetooth does it all and allows you to move around the house during commercials or to get a drink - doesn't matter why. Now since more and more HDTV's these days incorporate a bluetooth option, be on the look out for that option if planning on buying a new television. If your intention is streaming videos from your computer or on portable device... you will 100% hands down want a set of QUALITY / NAME BRAND bluetooth stereo headphones just because they deliver such a higher quality sound over normal stereo headphones and 2.4GHz wireless headsets.

*IMPORTANT INFORMTION: The last thing you want to do is flake out and buy cheap bluetooth headphones, I learned my lesson real fast with third party brands. I have listed a few specific bluetooth stereo headphones models that in my opinion will be the best bang for your buck and no brainers on buying as a gift.

Logitech Wireless MP3 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones

Logitech's Unchained Melody system really show you what a set of quality bluetooth stereo headphones are capable of with the right equipment. Besides freeing you of wires and tie-ups, they sound great, period the end. For awhile now, when it came to anything wireless, I've always thought Logitech was a average but reliable source of all types of audio accessories. I'll be honest though, I was a huge skeptical when hearing about a new type of stereo headphones using unique bluetooth technology.

To my delight, when compared to listening to music from my old bluetooth stereo headphones... Logitech really takes the cake on these for any mp3 audio player and iPod's. I'm now a believer after listening to Metallica, Eminem and Jimmy Page, I was very very impressed by how insane the clarity and depth of any genre of music I put on. Even the bass came through so clear but hit so hard - amazing when you don't even feel like your wearing wireless headphones when it only weights 3.2oz.

The Logitech headphones win this time around with design too. The unit comes in a really nice shiny black coloring you can say. Just let the so soft foam earpieces wrap around the back of the neck which features a flexible, but solid feeling frame. I didn't seem to notice any added bulk when wearing the Logitech MP3 iPod headset and people actually commented on how cool/stylish my wireless stereo headphones were.

On the right earpiece, you get volume controls that are easy to find by touch because of slight indents on a circular control interface. The iPod version, also has track control on the earpiece for skipping forward or back for the newer Apple iPod generations. A separate bluetooth wireless transmitter will plug into any device with a standard headphone jack. If your interested in the iPod edition, it only comes in gray and white.

All the models of Logitech's bluetooth headphones are surprisingly comfortable and is capable of perfectly smooth reception at up to 30 feet. At the gym, I ventured slightly further than that from the transmitter, but found the headset still worked well, despite an intervening wall.

No more problems of your batteries just dying on you in the middle of a nice jog. To avoid draining the headsets, Logitech includes rechargeable li-ion batteries in both the bluetooth stereo headphones and transmitter. The charger cable has two plugs which charges both components and each charge I found lasted about 8 hours of pretty heavy use.

Only two times did the bluetooth connection between transmitter and stereo headphones go out of sync but was able to resync them within seconds of clicking button. All in all, Logitech's wireless headphones are a great extra for digital-music lovers. With them, you can enjoy listening to your favorite music during favorite activity without the annoying clutter of wires and can just put your mp3 player away in your pocket, bag and even attaches to a belt clip.

Sennheiser RS120 Wireless Stereo Headphones with Charging Cradle

The Sennheiser RS-120 Wireless Headphones are an ideal choice for wireless use of both Hi-Fi audio and the TV. The open-ear headphones are beautiful and provide detailed, warm sound reproduction with a strong bass response (very strong). The wireless stereo headphones receive sound through walls and ceilings so you won't have to be in the same area as your base or equipment. The wireless headphone itself gets power comes from Ni-MH batteries that are recharged by simply putting the headphones on a transmitter base that can be mounted to a wall or placed on any flat surface.

When I first saw this product and after reading high reviews at every site - 3 things came into my head. My initial response was "what a great idea, i gotta have these". A few seconds later my 2nd thought "this all sounds too good to be true". My third thought, after receiving the Sennheiser RS120 wireless stereo headphones and slipping these headphones on for the first time, was simply WOW!!!

They come with three connection adapters, so they'll work with just about any TV, radio, stereo, DVD, game system etc... The charging base/holder unit is small, it doesn't get in the way and leaves a small enough footprint that you can find a spot for it just about anywhere your mind takes you.

Bottom line is these son of a gun headphones work - and they work extremely well. Right now I have them for my bedroom connected to the television so I can watch TV without keeping my wife awake (she loves these as well). Usually on the weeknights I can have the hockey game on with the volume blasted without making a peep. So far no complaint from her or kids (even if they did, I doubt I'd be able to hear them anyway with these sitting nicely on my head. You can of coarse walk around and do chores, work on the computer, whatever floats your boat and all this without missing a second of anything.

The rechargeable batteries are perfect. No need to plug a cord in, simply place the headset on the base and BAMMM, it's connected and charging effortlessly. I am the next Emeril Lagasse.

I like the fact that these are very easy and user friendly hooking them up. Just rip open the package and get the product working without having to read the instructions or manual. It's sounds crazy but it can't be anymore true.

Altec Lansing BackBeat 906 Wireless Stereo Headphones

These days, shopping for the right wireless stereo headphones can be a confusing product to shop for. Some bluetooth products come as single ear headset meant strictly for mobile phone calls, while others are full stereo headphones only for totally awesome music playback. The Altec Lansing BackBeat 906 offers the best of both worlds, combining amazing stereo sound with the call-quality and features you'd expect from a high end bluetooth mobile phone stereo headphones.

*The Altec Lansing BackBeat 903 and 906 headset models are basically identical. The products are differentiated by a Bluetooth 2.0 audio adapter that is included with the 906 model only. The 906 is $29.99 more then the BackBeat 903 model.

The BackBeat 906 is comprised of two earpieces connected by an 8" rubber cable that runs behind the neck. Just like competing headsets from Motorola and Jaybird... each earpiece wraps up and over the back of the ear and is held in place with a slight pinching tension. The headphone fit is also helped by asymmetrically shaped silicone ear tips that hug the opening of the ear canal. All that pinching and hugging may sound uncomfortable, but to my surprise, these were actually one of the most lightweight and unobtrusive stereo headsets I've ever had the pleasure of testing.

Just because the BackBeats aren't designed to seal your ears off from external sounds doesn't mean Altec Lansing spent any less time designing them for a snug fit whatsoever. In fact, the BackBeat 906 is the first stereo headset we've seen that has earpieces that can both rotate and extend up and down for improved comfort.

This overall package conveniently packs all the controls for headsets call answering and music features onto the left and right earpieces. On the outside of the left earpiece, you'll find a single, relatively large call answer button placed parallel with the ear. A single press of the call answer button picks up incoming calls, while a longer press sends the call to voice mail.

Controls for playing and pausing music are placed similarly on the right earpiece, with an additional switch on the bottom edge of the earpiece for controlling volume and track skip. Holding down the play button for a few seconds engages a bass boost feature that emphasizes lower frequencies which one can't complain about on quality. The 906 bluetooth stereo headphones rates the battery life of this product at 7hrs of non-stop continuous music playback and/or talk time. A charging adapter with a lengthy cable and interchangeable prongs for foreign sockets is included.

As the closest competitor to the BackBeat 906 in regards to design, price, sound, and features would be the Jaybird JB-200i distinguishes itself with a tapered earpiece design and a thinner cable connection that some may find more comfortable than the Altec Lansing design. When push comes to shove, however, I give the advantage to the BackBeat 906 for its more intuitive, easy easy on ear controls. They're not quite as invisible as the Sony HBH-IS800, but at half the price, the difference is negligible. Also, unlike the Sony Ericsson wireless stereo headphones, the ear tips on this one are deliberately designed to allow ambient sound to filter in, making them safer to use outdoors and eliminating the low freq rumble that can be heard while walking or jogging with in ear headphones that seal the ear canal.

Samsung SBH500 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones (SBH-500)

Samsung's latest bluetooth stereo headphones has arrived. The SBH500 headset connects to your music and any other bluetooth audio source enabling you to enjoy full and premium audio sound like no other. It connects allows you to connect to a single device as well as other devices simultaneously, allowing you to receive an inbound call when one comes in while listening to music on a totally different unit, cool huh? During the call, the wireless headphones becomes your bluetooth headphones through an integrated microphone and gently returns to the previous audio setting after the call.

At first glance the Samsung SBH-500 wireless headphones looks promising and for the price you can't complain about any of the little features that were left out or withheld for the next model up. The foam padding around the earphones is soft to the touch and the controls are large and well designed. It's also quite light and the band which connects the two earphones seems sturdy but flexible and didn't feel like a concern to me.

In the center of the right earphone you'll find a multifunction control for pairing the headset and placing and ending Samsung SBH500 bluetooth stereo headphones calls. It's slightly recessed so you can locate it easily when you're on a call and it's surrounded by a circular status light. Surrounding the multifunction button are the music controls, which include a play/pause button, a skip control, and a rewind button. They're also large and easy to use. The volume rocker rests on the rim of the earphone. As it always faces up when you're on a call, we had no problem finding it even on the first try.

The power switch and the charger port are located on the left earphone. The former is a bit hard to locate when you're wearing these, but to be honest we doubt you'd be using the power switch during a call. The charger port has a sliding cover. It's a nice touch, but it's not totally necessary.
